Maruti Suzuki IGNIS is now exclusively offering its Ignis AMT in the top-spec Alpha trim. The Ignis AMT was made available earlier also, but in Delta and Zeta trims only. The petrol Alpha AMT is available at a price of Rs 7.01 lakh and the diesel one has priced at Rs 8.08 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. Maruti had launched the range-topping Alpha trim earlier with the Baleno petrol, recently.
Low and mid-spec trims had always been Maruti Suzuki game of launching their automatic cars. Off late, customer feedback had been received by the most influential carmaker of India to finally start offering the top-spec trims for their automatic cars too. What attracts you in Maruti Suzuki Ignis is the mid-spec Zeta trim with an automatic climate control, driver seat height adjustment, rear parking camera, Smartplay infotainment system, meter accent lighting, puddle lamp and LED headlamps.
The Ignis is powered by a 1.2-litre 83.5PS/113Nm petrol engine and a 75PS/190Nm 1.3-litre diesel engine. The AMT in question is whether a 5-speed unit or not while the manual is also a 5-speeder. Adding to this top-spec AMT is definitely going to increase the allure of the Ignis.
