As the festive season is getting close, Maruti Celerio has received updates with the prices starting at INR 4.15 lakh, ex-showroom, Delhi. The updates are expected to keep the things fresh for the coming year since the model has been a popular offering for the automaker. The new updated Maruti Suzuki Celerio now has a revised front with a new mesh grill,e redesigned housing for fog lamps, and additional chrome detailing. At the rear side of the car, the bumper now has a slight upgrade as well, the cabin is updated with a new black and a beige color scheme and an upholstery for the seats.
Last time Maruti Suzuki Celerio was updated in 2014 and now updated again in 2017. This is the first car to feature an automated manual transmission (AMT) in the country. Maruti Suzuki has sold over 3 lakh examples of Celerio till date and still manages to offer appreciable space, a frugal powertrain with convenience.

Based on customer feedback, we have continuously provided new features to Celerio to delight them. We are confident that new Celerio will continue to meet the aspirations of the customers.”
The other updates in Celerio include a driver-side airbag as a standard across all the models along with a seat-belt reminder. Also, the company is now offering passenger airbags and ABS as an option for all the variants. The engine used in Celerio has a K10 998cc petrol engine, that can make 67 bhp and 90 Nm. Maruti can offer either a 5-speed manual transmission or an AGS unit as an option for it. Previously, the top-end Z model of the Celerio had contributed to over 48 percent of the total Celerio sales.
