The car that was previously displayed at the 2016 Sao Paulo Motorshow has now been displayed at the 2018 Chengdu Auto Show in China. It is none other than the Hyundai’s very own facelifted ix25, the 2018 Hyundai Creta. Talking about the exteriors of the car, the very first thing that strike our eye when we take a look at the Hyundai Creta is the bumper that has been revised and redesigned with flared contours below the headlamps while the grille is much bigger now with a dark Chrome surrounded that almost makes it look like it seems to extend the headlamps. With the headlamps that have been revised and no longer house the DRLs instead the DRLs have now been moved down and sits below the reshaped fog lamps, the car will give you a complete makeover change. Also, the bumper gets a faux plate. Decent and slight changes have been made to the lights and bumper design around the back. Amongst all the changes that occurred to help the makeover of the car, the noticeable on would be the new dual tip exhaust pipe.

While the exterior being quite impressive, the interior is largely same and doesn’t come with exciting changes. At the Chengdu Auto Show, the Hyundai ix25 on the display had all black interior with accents of red around the A/C vents. The stitching is also done with red to match on the seats and the gear lever is also done in red. The exterior of the car will surely impress you with its new look, the interior would not make you disappointed but would be the same and very basic like you have seen in the previous cars. The 2017 Hyundai ix25 is being sold with a 1.6-litre petrol forming new to the range is a 1.4-litre turbo petrol producing 140PS. This is quite a lot to expect.
The Hyundai Creta is expected to get a facelift in India very soon, sometime in next year after the Showcase that’s done recently in China. The Hyundai Creta is most likely to carry over the updates from the ix25. However, we are not sure about the engines in the new Creta, the engines might or might not be the same offering 1.6 litres 123 PS petrol and 1.6 litre 128 PS diesel. As we are seeing how the Hyundai is not offering the 1.4-litre diesel in the new Verna that has been launched, it is better to assume that the new 2017 Hyundai Creta would not be getting it either.
